MQS Technologies (formerly Medequip) is an Indian Engineering company which has developed various original NDT equipment's for X-Ray and CT based inspection.
PCB Designer:
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design requirements and specifications for PCB layouts.
- Design and develop high-quality PCB layouts using CAD software tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and design guidelines.
- Perform schematic capture, component placement, and routing of PCBs to meet performance, size, and cost requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
- Generate fabrication and assembly documentation, including Gerber files, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication vendors and assembly partners to ensure timely and cost-effective production of PCB prototypes and production runs.
- Conduct design validation and testing of PCB prototypes, troubleshoot issues and implement design improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in PCB design technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve design processes and practices.
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the design and development process.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro or KiCad.
- Strong understanding of PCB layout design principles, signal integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
- Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design principles, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving design issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing PCB design and manufacturing (e.g., IPC standards).
- Experience with PCB fabrication and assembly processes, including DFM/DFT considerations, is a plus.
- Should have strong knowledge of Impedance matching, Signal integrity & power integrity.
