Sr. Mechanical Designs (R&D)
Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
Experience: 2-4 years of design experience and handling experience will be an added advantage
Requirements:
- Machine design experience is mandatory
- Responsible for understanding clients/process requirements.
- Experience in Design of Special Purpose Machines & Automation Solutions is preferred.
- Should have experience in defining SOPs for design process, BOM Preparation, Standard Parts Selection Knowledge & Automation parts (motor, gear box, ball screw, LM rail, coupling).
Should possess knowledge on:
- Analysis and Design of Shaft, Structural Member, Selection of Motor, Bearing, Gear Box, Coupling, Equipment Sizing, Screw Capacity and Power Calculation.
- GD & T, Machining Processes & Assembly Process.
- Sheet metal design for aesthetic look for industrial cabinets and machines
- NPD (new product design) capabilities
- Research and data collecting capabilities for new components & mechanisms
- Participate in design review meetings to provide appropriate recommendations
- Project Plan & Project Documentation
- Co-ordinate with all relevant departments during machine building.
- Willing to adapt new technologies and learn quickly.
- Should have strong decision-making skills.
